Enlisting theatre to tell stories that will capture our humanity and resilience
Aubrey is a North Carolina based director and teaching artist. She is on the faculty at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, where she teaches and directs for the undergraduate and graduate MFA programs. Regionally, she has worked at The American Repertory Company, PlayMakers Rep, The Virginia Theater Festival and The Wilbury Group. This past fall, she directed the Pulitzer Prize finalist and Tony Award nominated play, "What The Constitution Means to Me" by Heidi Schreck for the 24/25 season at PlayMakers Rep. Her extensive training includes the National Theater Institute, SITI Company, Tectonic Theater Project, and the International Symposium of directors with LaMama in Umbria, Italy. Aubrey has her MFA in Directing from Brown University/Trinity Rep.
